Though university can be stressful at times, it can also be a lot of fun.
My favourite professor, teaches me the Social Science of Sports. She is absolutely crazy but I love her because she is fun, makes class time go by fast, and makes the content interesting.
She also loves cheesecake!
My favourite quote from her recently, which she said upon a student leaving class, "One day, if any of you become a teacher, you'll understand. If a student leaves your class early, all you'll want to do is: pack up your stuff, buy a cheesecake, go home, and have a party"
I think any excuse is a good excuse for cheesecake! And that is why I am so excited to share this recipe with you.
My favorite way to eat Toaster Cheesecake. With honey and cinnamon |
This is one of my own creations. It’s a great healthy alternative for cheesecake. You can have it for dessert or even breakfast. This is so yummy and easy I hope you try it. In fact I urge you to make this!
Just broiling away |
Toaster Cheesecake
1 slice of whole wheat bread
1/2 tbsp jam
~1 tbsp cream cheese (or enough to cover you bread)
Spread the jam and cream cheese on your bread.
Place into a toaster oven and toast for about two to three minutes or until bread is lightly browned.
Set your toaster rack into the upper third part of the toaster and turn on to broil.
Broil for about another two minutes or until the cream cheese has baked into a more solid layer.
Remove from oven and add extra toppings if desired.
Both ready for eating |
My favourite way to do this is with a drizzling of honey and sprinkling of cinnamon after broiling.

How is school going for you? What are you studying?
Ooooh, yum! That looks really tasty :)
ReplyDeleteSchool is going pretty well this semester. I'm still debating whether I want to study history or English! My cousin is studying kinesiology like you :)
This is a brilliant idea!
ReplyDeleteFortunately I'm done with school (I never really cared for writing papers), but that means I have to figure out what to do with my life now. That is going, well, slowly. :D
This is brilliant! I love cheesecake too, but it does take so much work. Now I know how to get my fix! Thanks for sharing, my friend. This looks scrumptious. Many blessings to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really good idea! I'm going to have to try that!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very unique and creative idea. I would never have thought of this, but I like it. Great idea for kids after school. And safe for kids, because it is just a toaster oven.
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Terra
You know what?! This toast is such a clever idea! :D It's such a blessing when you have that ONE professor who just inspires your heart out huh? Glad you have that :)
ReplyDeleteYou have something original and marketable here. Great idea! Who wouldn't like a quick cheesecake-like treat for breakfast or any time of the day. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I love broiled toppings + bread for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteGood recipe. Would've never thought to put it under the broiler
ReplyDeleteI love cream cheese and jam together. The sweet and tangy combination is such a winner! But my favorite combination by far has to be cream cheese and jalapeno jelly! The jalapeno jelly is still sweet but also has a spicy kick. It tastes AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cleveri idea!! Thanks for sharing!
