Here's a recipe that fits that request! Healthy but still sweet and even a bit creamy. This is a variation of my Toaster Cheesecake which I love because it has all the cheesecake flavour without too much of the "bad" stuff. If you're someone who doesn't like cheesecake(!) this recipe may also be for you because it's not nearly as sweet or rich as regular cheesecake. If you're someone who loves cheesecake then you'll also love this recipe because it's quick and easy enough to make everyday.
Chocolate Almond Butter Toaster Cheesecake
1/2 tbsp almond butter
1/2 tbsp cream cheese
1/2 tsp cocoa powder
Few drops of water
Drizzle of agave*
1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and spread on a slice of bread
2. Place bread into your toaster oven and toast for about two to three minutes or until bread is lightly browned.
3. Set your toaster rack into the upper third part of the toaster and turn on to broil.
4. Broil for about another two minutes or until the cream cheese has baked into a more solid layer.
Do you like cheesecake? What is your favorite kind?
What a fun and easy way to dress up toast!
